CliMate

CliMate is a gaming APP designed with tasks and storylines around bettering the environment in-game and IRL. This is a WIP logo design that was made as a place holder while the APP was figuring out where it sits in the market. This meant it was a quick turn around with the expectation to change later on.

The letter ‘C’ from their name is a great starting point for ideas. Since the APP is about environmental improvements in a game setting, I used elements like the Earth and panda to reflect that. I also provided them with some character design that can be an extension of its accompanying logo, offering visual identity in different use cases.

After presenting to the team, they preferred the clearness of the stand alone ‘C’ design, and after more development, we finalised on this minimalistic design.
