WIP logo options
Lucid is an image generation APP built around the time when Stable Diffusion 1.5 was gaining popularity. The idea behind it was to create an image generation APP that also has the functions like that of picture sharing APPs like Instagram and Pinterest. Social media is built for humans, retaining a community on this APP to share and interact with each other’s generations was a main focus. This gave me the idea of designing logos that resembles the human eye that sees the images, and the fingers (fingerprint) that create the generations.
For the ‘eye’ design, I used thin lines instead of filling it out with colours. Depending on usage/size of the logo, you can see different levels of a naked eye 3D effect, which gives it another strong link to ‘eyes’.
Final Logo
After further discussions with the product team, we decided to focus less on the bodily elements of a human, but more so on the act of interactions between people. With that in mind, I designed a logo that abstracts these individual users into dots, and shows the connections they will build by using the APP. The logo was also animated to reflect this dynamic.
